McMorran said: “After a few years client side, there’s only one agency that would lure me back – Emotive.

They’ve produced some incredible work over the past few years and the relationships they’ve built with their clients is second to none. I’m excited to work with Hoggy again and make some epic stuff happen.”

McGorty, who joins Emotive as brand activations director, has an experiential career spanning 20 years at leading creative agencies across the UK and Australia for the likes of Aperol, Nintendo, Luxury Escapes and LVMH.

McGorty said: “I’ve always been a big fan of Emotive’s ideas-first approach and unique mix of capabilities, so to get to join the team is an exciting new chapter for me. It’s an interesting time for the world of events and activations as we come out of a period where brands have had limited opportunities to interact with their audience directly. I’m looking forward to working with the amazing clients we have to help them create experiences their customers want to be a part of again.”

Stewart is the latest new hire joining the design team as a junior designer/animator under Dan Mortenson, whose leadership has seen the department go from strength to strength since his arrival 12 months ago.

Simon Joyce, CEO/ founder said: “Welcoming talented new staff to the agency is one of the best parts of my role. Pia, Jim and Ferg all bring outstanding skill sets to the table, are passionate about their respective crafts and culturally align with what we are about. With a growing team and client base, and a new office in Coogee, we couldn’t be more excited about 2022.”

The appointment of McMorran, McGorty and Stewart comes on the back of continued growth for the Sydney agency, with an expanding client base including Optus, Audible, Modibodi, Pernod Ricard, Mount Franklin, Google, Breville, Wotif, YoPRO and ARN.
