Heartland Bank has appointed Matt Farnham to head of marketing and engagement, a newly created leadership role unifying brand, digital performance and engagement.
Farnham steps up from senior manager, brand and marketing. His remit spans marketing, customer care (inbound contact centre), leads and new enquiries, with responsibility for end to end engagement, campaign performance and lifecycle improvements. The focus is turning Heartland’s challenger positioning into measurable outcomes for customers.
This approach supports Heartland Bank’s focus on specialty banking products tailored to unique customer needs
“I am pleased to announce my appointment to the newly created head of marketing and engagement at Heartland Bank Australia,” Farnham wrote in a LinkedIn post.
“In this 12-month role, I will focus on marketing and customer engagement, which are essential for helping our customers lead more comfortable lives. This aligns with Heartland Bank’s commitment to specialty banking products that cater to unique needs. I will be connecting brand, digital performance, and journey design end-to-end, ensuring that the promises we make in the market are reinforced by every interaction.
“Based in Melbourne, I look forward to collaborating across the business to drive measurable growth, retention, and advocacy.”
Farnham will report to Medina Cicak, chief commercial officer, Heartland Bank Australia.
