Ross Berthinussen, the former President of 72andSunny ANZ, has returned to Australia to launch a new coaching company, Human Things, targetting executive leaders in the Creative and Marketing industries.
Human Things is focused on helping leaders develop the human capacities required to thrive in a world of accelerated change and uncertainty.
Ross returns to Australia after a year of intensive full-time training in London in Integral Coaching. Originally developed in San Francisco, Integral Coaching© goes beyond traditional leadership coaching to develop “the human behind the leader” so they can become more present and effective at work and life.
Whilst in London, Ross built a portfolio of executive clients at global brands and in the creative industries, including leaders from BBH, Good Ventures and Accenture.
Says Ross, “We’re living at a time of accelerated and unprecedented change. It brings with it incredible opportunity but also huge uncertainty. Whilst leading 72andSunny, I’ve experienced first hand the pressures of leading through this and learned that it’s our innate human capacities, things like creativity, empathy and presence, that equip us to thrive”.
“Integral Coaching is a deeply human type of coaching that helps leaders build these capacities and bring themselves more fully to their roles and life. I’m excited to bring this innovative approach to the Creative and Marketing community at a time when humanity matters more than ever.”
Prior to 72andSunny, Ross worked in Brand Strategy and Leadership roles for 25 years, in Sydney and London.
At 72andSunny, he led the team that doubled the size of the local agency in four years, winning an exponential number of new clients, including realestate.com.au, Big W and Who Gives A Crap, as well as numerous awards including Campaign Of The Year and Agency Of The Year.
