PR agency Eight Communications has been appointed as the Australian PR agency for Seabourn Cruise Line.
Following a competitive pitch process, Eight Communications has been engaged to drive public relations for Seabourn across the Australian market, leading strategic communications to elevate brand visibility. The scope includes media relations, influencer engagement, brand partnerships, creative campaigns, and event activations in collaboration with Seabourn’s global communications and regional sales teams.
Eight Communications founder and managing director, Angela Cowley, said she was thrilled with the appointment.
“We know how much Australians love cruising and we are so excited to be representing Seabourn, a brand that truly embodies the pinnacle of luxury travel in the market here. At Eight, we live and breathe hospitality and travel storytelling, and we can’t wait to share Seabourn’s incredible itineraries and experiences with media and travellers here. Seabourn truly inspires wanderlust, and we’re excited to bring that spirit to life in fresh, creative ways.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Eight Communications as our PR partner in Australia. With Australians showing a growing appetite for luxury and expedition cruising, this partnership will help us share what makes Seabourn so unique: our small-ship intimacy, extraordinary service, and enriching experiences that take guests closer to the world’s most remarkable destinations,” added Alex Pikardt, Seabourn’s senior director of sales, Australia and New Zealand.
“Eight’s understanding of the Australian market and their creative approach to travel storytelling will be invaluable as we continue to grow Seabourn’s presence across the region.”
Launched in 2018, Eight Communications now represents a growing portfolio of international and domestic clients across the travel, tourism, hospitality, F&B and luxury sectors.
