Independent agency Thrive PR + Communications has announced the appointment of Jane Hutton in the newly-created role of communications and marketing director.
Hutton joins Thrive from Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN), where she has held a variety of senior communications roles over the past 10 years.
In her new role, Hutton will focus on driving greater visibility of Thrive and it’s people, as well as building on the agency’s internal practices and cultural initiatives.
Hutton previously spent six years with Thrive after joining in her first full-time PR role in 2004.
Thrive founder and managing director Leilani Abels said: “With the rapid pace at which our client base is expanding and our team is growing, the time is right to create a new role within the agency to help further build Thrive’s position in market.
“We’re delighted to welcome Jane back to the Thrive family and as a member of our senior leadership team, and look forward to our biggest year yet in 2019.”
Commenting on her new role, Hutton said: “I’m extremely grateful for the breadth of experience I’ve had during the past decade with DAN, working with the industry’s best and brightest at all levels of the business.
“This has well prepared me to take on an exciting and challenging new role with Thrive, and something of a homecoming to be going back to where my PR career began.
“I’m looking forward to working with the incredible Thrive team and clients to ensure the business continues to lead the PR industry on a global scale.”
