Dentsu Mitchell today announces the appointment of Andrew Gough as Client Service Director for the Victorian Government.

With a 20-plus year media career, Gough (pictured centre above) brings extensive experience to the Victorian Government team and is well equipped to hit-the-ground-running. Gough joins from OMD, where he spent the previous four years as a Business Director.

Gough has built strong relationships throughout the industry over the years, and has proven client service capabilities. Whilst being commercially astute and a creative problem solver, he is also passionate about mentoring others as they progress in their careers.

Speaking of his appointment, Gough said, “I am really looking forward to working for the Victorian Government at Dentsu Mitchell, and to help develop and nurture a young talented team along-side Sylvia Pickering [pictured left above] and John Thompson [right above].”

John Thompson, Managing Director, Victorian Government Services, said; “I am extremely pleased to have Andrew back to work on the Victorian Government business, he is a rare find in our industry given his significant and diverse experience in the media industry. Andrew has extensive experience working across major advertisers in categories such as, Retail, Automotive, Insurance, Government, Media and Communications. It gives me great confidence to be able to introduce Andrew to my clients after having previously been a client of Andrew’s myself, I know that his client service capability is exceptional and his media smarts are second to none.”

Andrew Gough’s appointment follows yesterday’s news seeing Sylvia Pickering promoted to lead the Victorian Government account following Ron Phillips retirement.
