Customer experience agency CX Lavender has announced the appointment of Michael Rummery to the role of business development director for Melbourne.
Rummery (pictured above) was previously account director of client services at global marketing and digital recruitment firm Aquent, and has held roles at a number of talent agents and recruitment firms with a focus on business intelligence, digital and data, and human-centred design.
In his new role at CX Lavender, Rummery is tasked with building new strategy-led relationships with clients in the Melbourne market and promoting the agency’s end-to-end CX service trilogy: data stewardship, CX creation and CX technologies.
Through its growth in service design and data, CX Lavender Melbourne has doubled in size over the past 12 months. Rummery will aim to demonstrate how Lavender’s complete CX service empowers clients to get their CX working right across their spectrum.
Rummery will also work closely with the senior leadership team to explore growth opportunities in the Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian markets.
In addition, CX Lavender is currently recruiting a business development director for the Sydney office to continue to drive momentum.
CX Lavender chairman Will Lavender said: “We’re going through an exciting period of growth and change at the agency, and Michael’s new role is crucial in helping us build on the momentum and expand our footprint into South Australia and Tasmania.
“He is a smart thinker and coming from a non-agency background. He brings a fresh perspective to building strong relationships.”
Commenting on his appointment, Rummery said: “CX Lavender’s ‘data heart’ and mission to create experiences that know, serve and delight customers was what attracted me to the agency.
“Everyone here is committed to the customer and to helping their clients achieve differentiation and advantage in the CX space. I can’t wait to help more clients realise the true potential of their business.”
