Containers for Change is set to launch its first campaign via BCM Group after appointing the agency for brand strategy and creative in September, off the back of a competitive pitch.
“Cheers to the Change Makers” will launch across television, outdoor, digital and radio today, aiming to to inspire and motivate Queenslanders to recycle their eligble drink containers with Containers for Change.
Sam Nicholson, general manager customer and community at Container Exchange which runs Containers for Change QLD, said, “We’re excited to build on our existing ‘change makers’ platform to showcase the different ways and reasons that people use Containers for Change. Distinctly Queensland in its feel, the simplicity of ‘cheers’ was a stand out approach in inspiring people up and down the state to get involved and start making change with their containers.”
Managing partner of BCM Group Phil McDonald added, “Containers for Change plays a huge role in creating a sustainable future for Queensland and that’s an amazing thing to be a part of. We’re thrilled to be able to work in a category that’s driving the future of consumer behaviour and in turn our planet.”
“This first piece of work plays off a simple and effective visual device, and builds a good foundation for what we see as an enduring narrative. We think it does the job of showing Queenslanders, no matter who they are or what their motivation might be, that there is a reason to be involved with Containers for Change.”
