Century 21 has launched ‘Home of the Century’, an eight-part video podcast series at the forefront of social, streaming and audio.
The series is designed to give everyday Australians the guidance to navigate the life decision of whether to buy, sell, or renovate.
With more than two in five Australians consuming video podcasts according to iHeart data, and research showing 91 per cent of brands report creator content drives better ROI than traditional advertising. Century 21 is using a social-first approach to property content that is educational, entertaining, and shareable.
Hosted by TV presenter and real estate agent Erin Holland and interior designer and The Block judge Darren Palmer, the talent-led series features real experts, homes and stories.
Every episode produces 30+ pieces of content ready for agent recruitment, client engagement, social amplification, and PR, with precision targeting to ensure it reaches the right audience.
Century 21 executive director of marketing, Charles Hoatson said: “Video podcasting is the new frontier in connection, and we’re the first real estate network in Australia to do this at scale. Home of the Century is premium, social-first editorially-led content that allows us to control distribution, measure engagement, and connect with audiences in a way traditional advertising can’t. We’re thrilled to have recognised and trusted voices Erin Holland and Darren Palmer represent the brand.”
The series features insights from Century 21 Australia experts including founder Charles Tarbey and CEO Century 21 Middle East Group, Peter Matthews.
Century 21 has partnered with LM Collaborations, its newly appointed creative lead across audio, video and digital media strategy, to bring ‘Home of the Century’ to life. It was produced by MIK and also included collaboration with audio and media specialist, Dan Nitschke
LM Collaborations founder Louise Magnifico said: “LM’s speciality is 360 strategic collaboration. We’re leveraging powerful talent and real Australians for authentic storytelling to position Century 21 as a modern, progressive property brand that resonates with young buyers and sellers, and ambitious agents.”
MIK head of content Amelia Chappelow said: “Australians are the world’s most dedicated podcast listeners, and the shift to video is accelerating faster than anyone anticipated. For a topic as emotionally loaded as property, that combination is powerful. Video podcasts let us sit inside someone’s home and have the kind of honest conversation that makes the impossible feel possible — and that’s exactly what Home of the Century does.”
