Carat Perth has promoted both Sophie Park and Geoff Langton to client director roles.
Both promotions reflect a deliberate investment in senior talent developed from within – people who understand Carat Perth’s clients not just at a campaign level, but at a business level.
Park’s promotion recognises a high performer who has built a reputation for client leadership across an equally diverse portfolio. She leads the agency’s relationships with Revo Fitness, Harvest Road, and Murdoch University, three clients with different briefs, audiences, and measures of success, demanding strategic range.
Park invests the time to understand category dynamics, internal stakeholder pressures, and the broader commercial context her clients are operating in – and that foundation consistently produces media strategies that are more precise, more relevant, and more effective than the brief alone would generate.
Beyond her client work, Park has demonstrated a commitment to the industry through her leadership of the Revenue Squad within the Oasis committee, bringing a collaborative approach and creating space for others to contribute while never losing sight of the practical realities of delivery.
Park said: “This promotion means a lot to me, and it reinforces how much I care about the work and the clients we serve,”
“I’m committed to continuing to raise the bar – in the quality of our strategic thinking, the outcomes we drive, and how well we genuinely understand what our strategic thinking, the outcomes we drive, and how well we genuinely understand what our clients need from us at every stage.”
Geoff Langton brings a depth of experience spanning many accounts on Carat Perth’s roster. He will continue to lead the agency’s partnerships with Cash Converters, Lotterywest, and Summit Homes, a portfolio that cuts across retail financial services, community grants and brand marketing, and residential property, each operating in competitive environments.
He has demonstrated that media outcomes begin with understanding of what a client is actually trying to solve, commercially, competitively, and operationally. That orientation has made him a trusted adviser rather than an account manager.
Langton said: “I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead,”
“The clients I work with are ambitious and operate in complex categories, and I’m focused on continuing to grow those relationships – bringing better thinking, stronger planning, and a deeper understanding of what moves the needle for their businesses.”
Charles Dangibeaud client partner at Carat Perth said: “These are thoroughly deserved promotions, and I couldn’t be more pleased to see them happen. Geoff and Sophie have both shown what genuine client leadership looks like – an outstanding work ethic, a real command of media planning, and an ability to earn the trust of their clients because they take the time to truly understand the challenges those clients are navigating. That kind of insight doesn’t come from skimming the surface; it comes from curiosity, dedication, and a genuine investment in the people you work with. Nurturing that calibre of talent from within is one of the most important things we can do as an agency, and both of them have made this an easy call. Our clients are in excellent hands.”
