Wondering what to do in between a star studded lineup of the most innovative, creative and utterly entertaining speakers in adland? Fear not, for our hefty “Cairns Extra” program has got you covered.
Taking place in stunning Tropical North Queensland there will be no shortage of tax-deductible fun to be had at Australian adland’s favourite creativity festival: Cannes in Cairns presented by Pinterest.
From snorkelling in The Great Barrier Reef to cruising aboard superyachts, the “Cairns Extra” itinerary is guaranteed to satisfy even the most insatiable pleasure-seekers.
Here’s just a taste of our Cairns Extras.
Pre-event, 28th May:
Samsung is taking guests on a welcome dinner, which will be spent sailing around the picturesque Cairns harbour sipping delicious cocktails.
Boomtown will also be welcoming guests with herb infused cocktails and a 270-degree panoramic view of Cairns at Rocco’s Rooftop Bar.
Underneath the stars, on a beach lined with palm trees, AKQA will be treating their guests to award-winning dishes by Nunu.
And Magnite is giving you the chance to mingle with a dinner at Salt House, famous for its legendary wood-fired Argentinian grill.
Day 1, Monday 29th May:
Headlined by Aussie legends King Stingray, Pinterest’s welcome party is putting an epic spin on the usual conference “think tanks”.
Day 2, Tuesday 30th May:
After the conference, Reddit will be treating guests to a happy hour at the heritage-listed Hemingway’s Brewery on Cairns Wharf.
Stackadapt will be hosting a VIP dinner at the beloved Brewery which will include a tour of its brewing facilities, craft beer tasting, and sit-down for a formal dinner.
For Channel Factory’s dinner, we’re back at the fabled Rocco’s for an evening of chit-chat, canapes and slipping business cards.
Day 3, Wednesday 31st May:
Say farewell to Cannes in Cairns 2023 with our fabulous pool party, and remember to bring your swimmers!
Day 4, Thursday 1st June
And since you’re already in stunning tropical North Queensland, how better to cap off three days of incredible, best-of-the-best industry speakers than by floating amidst the clear waters and brilliant corals of The Great Barrier Reef?
