BMW Unveils Live Sydney Activation Via Clemenger

BMW Group Australia has opened the doors to a live activation at World Square in Sydney. For four days, Australian’s have the opportunity to win an adrenalin-packed trip for two to Germany to experience the all-new BMW M5 Competition.

The innovative activation showcases the newest additions to BMW’s high-performance M range in Australia, the BMW M2 Competition and BMW M5 Competition.

A zero to 100km/h sprint of just 4.2 seconds in the M5 Competition guarantees a thrilling challenge for competition entrants who attempt to catch the car as it races across the screen.

Tony Sesto, general manager of marketing at BMW Group Australia, was eager to hit the go button on this unique and engaging concept.

“We are excited to open the doors to BMW Australia’s ultimate performance competition,” said Sesto.

“The M Capture Competition showcases the sheer speed and performance of the BMW M5 Competition and provides Australian fans with the opportunity to experience the newest BMW M vehicles first-hand.

“This is one of the first major activations BMW has launched in Australia with new creative agency partner Clemenger – it sets the tone for future projects that will continue to engage and thrill our customers and fans,” he said.

To enter the competition, participants need to capture the BMW M5 Competition as it accelerates across the large billboard-style screen. Those who capture the vehicle perfectly in frame will go in the running for the halo prize to Germany.

The grand prize includes a full day BMW M Driving Experience on a race track of the winners choice in Germany, a BMW Factory Tour in Munich, return flights, accommodation, spending allowance and transfers within Germany.

BMW M Collection Trolley suitcases will be offered to ten selected runners-up. Participants and visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a separate competition to win a BMW Driving Experience for two in Australia by registering their details.
