Australian independent media agency Atomic 212° today announced the appointment of Angus Bower as Sydney head of SEO.

In his new role, Mr Bower will work closely with Atomic 212° general manager of media technology, Tom Sheppard.

Atomic 212° chairman Barry O’Brien, said: “Angus is crucial to the team at Atomic 212° and I’m thrilled he has agreed to take on this important role.

“Angus has a real passion for combining creativity with data to develop big-impact ideas for our clients.

“His experience across startups and industries including finance, travel, hospitality, fast-moving consumer goods and education means he brings unique skills, insights and creative thinking to our business.”

Mr Bower joined Atomic 212° as SEO director in July 2018. He was previously SEO content and digital PR Manager at the marketing agency IndagoDigital, which was named as one of Australia’s 50 fastest-growing startups by The Australian Financial Review in 2018.

His resume also includes marketing and management roles at Gfresh.cn, IQX Business Solutions, George Weston Foods and his own ventures in South East Asia. Angus also has a background and passion for creative writing and literature.

Mr Bower said: “It’s electric working with my clients and the team around me. I’m really excited to be where I am, doing what I’m doing.”
