Apple has released its latest ad, a seven-minute sequel to its 2019 ad ‘The Underdogs‘, which details the hilarious and relatable challenges of “the whole working-from-home” thing.
The new ad brings back the four ‘underdogs’ now living in quarantine conditions yet are still under pressure to deliver an innovative pizza box design in a short amount of time and in half the budget.
Dealing with all the WFH realities such as children running amok, living with parents, video conference awkwardness and not wearing pants, the team is forced to create their breakthrough pizza box from home.
Much like the 2019 spot, it’s hilarious and fun, yet also taps into the dark reality of WFH life and the pressure on teams to deliver under pandemic conditions.
Yet Apple so seamlessly integrates its products into the sitcom-like campagin – from the Apple Watch to iPad, Macbooks and iPhones – that you almost forget its an ad for Apple.
Watch the spot below. No doubt you’ll be able to relate!
