Apple Goes Anime In Cool New Japanese Ad

If you’re a lover of Macs and anime then a new spot out of Japan should stir the creative juices.

Called “Behind the Mac”, the 35-second spot’s the work of Apple and TBWA\Media Arts Lab Tokyo and uses an amalgam of work from some of Japan’s leading anime artists who just so happen to be creatively toiling away on their Mac computers.

The ad’s aimed at students to highlight the creative opportunities of the Mac suite and is accompanied by a tune by Japanese musician Kaho Nakamura called I Am Syujinkou (I Am The Protagonist) that encourages young people to become the heroes of their own stories.

It’s all in Japanese, but it is a whole lot of fun.
