Independent supply-side platform, Index Exchange, has appointed Amelia Ward as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Ward will report to Adele Wieser, senior regional managing director, APAC.
Ward joined Index Exchange in February 2022 as senior director, buyer development and was promoted to head of buyer development in March 2024. During her time with the company, she has led demand development strategies for clients across Australia and New Zealand and served as a key business partner and advisor to media owners across the region.
Prior to joining Index Exchange, Ward spent more than 20 years agency-side, including 13.5 years at PHD (part of Omnicom Media Group), where she most recently served as Head of Digital.
In her new role, Ward will lead Index Exchange’s commercial strategy and operations across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with partners across the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
“Since joining Index Exchange, Amelia has played a key role in advancing our strategic objectives and strengthening our position with our partners and clients across Australia and New Zealand,” Wieser said.
