Airbnb awarded Starcom, the incumbent, its global media business across Europe and the US in September 2014. It is believed Dentsu also handles some media for Airbnb Asia.
According to sources close to Campaign US, the pitch is being led out of Asia.
It is currently unclear whether the review is being handled internally or by an external consultant.
Wieden + Kennedy won global creative rights for Airbnb in September 2017.
Starcom declined to comment Campaign US’ request for comment, as did Airbnb and Dentsu Aegis.
