Independent agency Agent99 Public Relations is thrilled to announce the signing of the world’s first triple malt whisky, Monkey Shoulder, to its increasingly diverse roster of clients. This came as a welcome anniversary present for the agency that turns nine years old this month.
Monkey Shoulder is one of the innovative labels under the award-winning distiller William Grant & Sons. The smooth and rich premium Scotch whisky comes from the unique combination of three Speyside single malts, expertly married in small batches to create a versatile flavour like no other.
Agent99 is also pleased to have William Grant & Sons re-sign on for another 12-month retainer.
Innovators in whisky, gin, rum and other spirits, William Grant & Sons labels include: Grant’s, Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Hendrick’s Gin, Reyka, Milagro, Solerno, Drambuie, Sailor Jerry, Tullamore Dew and Monkey Shoulder. Over the next year the agency will be working across a number of their brand projects.
To celebrate the “Year of the Monkey” and the City of Sydney Chinese New Year Festival, the agency will develop a dynamic campaign to highlight the upcoming Monkey Shoulder whisky bar.
The Monkey Shoulder Bar will be at the epicentre of Sydney’s official Chinese New Year celebrations, open from 5pm till 10pm in Martin Place from 6 February to 14 February, 2016 and then relocating to continue the festivity in World Square from 15 February to 21 February, 2016.
Bringing the brand’s cheeky wit and charm to Sydney, the custom-created bar will honour all things Monkey with an assortment of delicious whisky cocktails on offer. The Monkey Mojito, a Monkey Shoulder spin on the classic, is sure to be a crowd pleaser, while the entire selection of cocktails will illustrate the versatility of the Scotch whisky.
Agent99 PR is rolling out a strategic six week PR campaign to increase brand visibility and promote the Monkey Shoulder Bar at the City of Sydney Chinese New Year Festival. The campaign also aims to achieve maximum publicity and exposure for the Monkey Shoulder brand while highlighting its versatility and changing the way Scotch whisky is perceived.
Monkey Shoulder marketing manager, Jacqueline Nalder, said, “We are excited to see what Agent99 Public Relations will offer the Monkey Shoulder brand. The agency is a great fit both in terms of its business values and culture, and we believe the team will go above and beyond our expectations with this campaign to achieve results and leverage this important sponsorship.”
Agent99 Public Relations director Sharon Zeev Poole said, “Monkey Shoulder is a thrilling addition to the expanding Agent99 client list that we’re very proud of.
