Independent brand experience agency, Aesthetic, have entered 2017 with the appointment of brand experience powerhouse, Adam Mortimer (pictured above). Mortimer steps into his permanent role at the Melbourne headquartered agency as strategy and development director.
Mortimer’s experience is deeply entrenched in the emergence of experiential marketing in Australia. He was founding member of the Jack Morton Worldwide leadership team in Australia as it secured large-scale Federal Government, Commonwealth Games and Olympic ceremonies, cementing its reputation in Australia.
He then moved onto strategic, client and managing director roles and has been director of The Resonate Company – people, brands and performance.
Mortimer’s client collaboration list encompasses a truly diverse range of respected national and global brands – Qantas, L’Oreal, Red Bull, Australian Grand Prix, Rolex, Lacoste and government departments to name a few – he will be sharing his experience on Aesthetic client projects and from a growth perspective for the evolving agency.
Mortimer said, “In shaping brand experiences I’ve been fortunate to work alongside industry pioneers. Aesthetic is no exception. We are a group driven by curiosity and the realities of change. We know it’s a complex undertaking for brands thinking seriously about creating value.”
“Growing emphasis and investment in brand experiences as the pillars of value creation require new ways of thinking and doing. Insights reveal its time for a new perspective beyond the narrow confines of the tactical and the single channel – our focus is on understanding unique business drivers and aligning strategic ideas to our ‘point in time’ approach to people that excites.”
Aesthetic managing director, Darren Natale, added, “Aesthetic has built an experienced team motivated to take on the toughest and most complex brand and business challenges as brands seek new levels of performance.
“We are thrilled have Adam join our team in this key development and strategic role. He will not only add vast experience and insight to our clients but continue to evolve Aesthetic’s competencies and relevance in the industry.”
Mortimer has been working with the Aesthetic team in a consultant capacity since June 2016 and has been key in driving the agency towards a renewed market offering. His permanent residence across the Melbourne and Sydney offices commenced in January.
