The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) and MOVE have made changes to their boards, with director of civic outdoor and alliance outdoor Adam Whitford, elected to the OMA Board and Kirrily Hirst director of sales at GoTransit Media Group, appointed to the MOVE Board.
The appointments bring two industry leaders into key governance roles at a time of momentum for Out of Home, as the industry continues to strengthen collaboration and measurement.
OMA and MOVE independent chair Charles Parry-Okeden said: “Adam and Kirrily are both highly respected leaders who bring valuable experience, sound judgement and a strong understanding of the opportunities ahead for our industry. I look forward to working with them as OMA and MOVE continue to support the growth of outdoor advertising.”
Whitford has more than 25 years’ experience across the OOH advertising industry in Australia and internationally. He has expertise spanning media ownership, regulatory compliance, planning and development, and asset management. He will add commercial, legal and strategic insight to the OMA Board, alongside a commitment to supporting independent media owners and long-term industry growth.
Hirst has more than 15 years of leadership experience in Australia’s OOH media sector and has played a pivotal role in GoTransit Media Group’s growth from a Queensland-based bus advertising business into a national network operating in more than 115 markets. As director of sales, she will lead the company’s national sales and marketing strategy and brings a strong industry advocacy focus through her contributions to the OMA Marketing Committee.
