Abbie Chatfield has claimed that she once turned down a $50,000 offer from a brand because it didn’t align with her values ethically – girl boss energy.
People love to accuse influencers of being unethical, but honestly, I think that is changing rapidly. A perfect example is 10’s Chatfield.
Chatfield has long been outspoken about the type of brands she will or won’t work with and she’s now revealed that she turned down a brand even though the money was incredible because she couldn’t support a fast fashion brand.
Pedestrian reported that Chatfield said: “The brand didn’t, like, morally align with me.”
Chatfield then revealed exactly how many coins she decided to go without. She said: “I think around $50,000 for a day. I didn’t want to be involved with this brand. Cos it was fast fashion.”
Chatfield also explained the $50k was just for one day of work! But she still decided it wasn’t worth it.
“I’d feel so gross and dirty the whole day. Do you know what I mean? I’d feel like yuck.”
Chatfield’s admission comes after Kourtney Kardashian has recently been slammed for teaming up with BooHoo.
