A Kayne West Impersonator Is Dropping Off Yeezy’s To Eastern Suburbs Celebs In Genius PR Stunt

Here at B&T, we love a PR Stunt and honestly, we don’t see enough of them,

So, it was delightful to see that when online retail store WAVES, launched its YEEZY slides it was done via a clever PR move.

Instead of opting for the traditional modern route and just doing an Instagram post or giveaway, WAVES went all out with the help of Roxy Jacenko’s PR.

Yes, the PR Queen herself stepped in to really bring the launch to life!  The retail store went offline and hit the streets of the Eastern Suburbs, getting ‘Ye’ a Kanye West impersonator to drop off the slides to local celebrities.

Ye was spotted dropping the YEEZY slides in a new, limited-edition colourway to high-profile Sydneysiders like; Karl Stefanovic, Jackie O, Wippa, Elle Ferguson, Martha and Michael, Pip Edwards and many more.

Travelling through the Eastern Suburbs, “Ye” turned heads as everyone thought “, Was that Kanye?.”.

However, you’d only have to look at his Instagram account to realise he was busy being annoyed with Kim Kardashian in America.

Naturally, this kind of bright and bold move has made waves, pun intended, and while the slides haven’t sold out yet, they are definitely the talk of the town.
