Sydney-based blogger agency The Remarkables Group has added three new bloggers to its books.
The agency, set up by Lorraine Murphy (pictured) a year ago when she left her role as PR manager at Naked Communications, now has a stable of 15 bloggers.
The new additions are Carly Jacobs’ blog smaggle.com, Matthew Ross’ daddownunder.wordpress.com and Laura McWhinnie’s thisislandlife.com.
Jacobs’ six-year-old blog shares health, beauty, fashion and lifestyle advice, while Ross’ blog documents his experiences as a stay-at-home dad. McWhinnie’s ‘This Island Life’ blog works around the motto that it is always summer somewhere.
The Remarkables Group helps its bloggers connect with brands.
Murphy said: “Their Gen Y appeal and wide range of content make Carly, Matthew and Laura very exciting additions to our group. Matthew’s perspective as a stay-at-home dad is a strong draw for brands who don’t want to solely speak to mothers, while the Smaggle and This Island Life communities of savvy, aspirational 20-something women are an audience much in demand by the brands and agencies we work with.
“There have been a number of campaigns relevant to these audiences in recent weeks, which offered us the ideal opportunity to invite Carly, Matt and Laura to come onboard.”
