New OOH network for Homemaker centres

A new out-of-home ad network has launched in Australia’s homemaker centres to cash in on shoppers about to make big purchases.

Homemaker Media, a new company that launched earlier this year, has this week unveiled a series of static and digital panels across the big scale shopping centres. It is the first time there has been advertising inside homemaker centres.

Commonwealth Bank, DeLonghi and Dyson have teamed up with Homemaker Media as foundation clients.

Homemaker Media, comprising 150 panels including 60 digital panels, is now installed in 16 centres across New South Wales and Victoria, with the network gearing up to expand to more than 50 centres across all states next year.

Henny Darvall, general manager of sales and marketing at Homemaker Media, told B&T: “It’s such a defined audience and such a defined mindset. It seemed a really obvious place to be in. People are in the centres, ready to spend large amounts of money. It seemed logical for us to put advertising in there.”
