Sydney content marketing agency Edge has appointed Matt Sterne as executive creative director.
Sterne (pictured), who has more than a decade’s experience in digital with stints at Lowe, Havas Worldwide and GPY&R Group, is Edge’s first creative director.
He said: “There’s a perception that only the bigger agencies produce quality work, however I took the position with Edge because I could see they were really leading the way in the hot topic of branded content.
“Edge’s heritage in editorial was a real draw card as it sets them apart. They are masters of storytelling, which shows in the quality of work and the results they produce.”
Fergus Stoddart, commercial director at Edge, added: “Bringing Matt on board is a real tipping point for Edge. Over the last several years, we have evolved from custom magazines to delivering content campaigns across multiple platforms, and Matt’s appointment gives us even more creative firepower.
“Matt brings over 13 years of agency experience to this position, as well as a strong background in digital marketing.”
