Of all the downers brought about by COVID lockdowns, the halt on boozy work parties would be near the top of the list.
So, it was good to see Range Rover’s senior US management letting their hair down at the automaker’s annual leadership summit in Los Angeles on Monday night.
And it appears no expense was spared, with none other than Fugees legend Wyclef Jean called on for the evening’s entertainment duties.
Things started to get a little out of hand towards the end of the evening when the 52-year-old singer hoisted the president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover’s North American operations, Joe Eberhardt, up on his shoulders for an impromptu dance and photo opportunity.
Sadly for everyone concerned, Jean then managed to drop Eberhardt on his head, with the CEO emerging from the incident looking rather dazed and confused.
Footage of the incident appeared on entertainment site TMZ, which reported that Eberhardt wasn’t seriously hurt; however, he did leave the event early as a precautionary measure.

Thankfully, social media saw the funny side.
