WP Creative, which is no relation to WPP, describes itself as the “web agency behind better marketing”.
By better, it means specialising in custom WordPress design and development for brands seeking help in modernising slow and underperforming sites, to ultimately get them coming back and buying the product.
Its largest clients in 2025 include not-for-profit organisation Relationships Australia, personal injury and compensation law firm Gerard Malouf & Partners (GMP Law) and IT consulting firm The NRI Group.
Over the year, WP won 37 new clients, 12 of which were on a project-basis and 25 on a retained basis.
New work included website rebuilds and care work for United Muslims of Australia and AM Psychology, alongside ongoing website care and support work with Scientia Clinical Research.
Additionally, it won Casella Family Brands, (doing website work for its Yellow Tail wine), Roseville College, (an ongoing website care plan), Risk Frontiers, (new website design and build), Relationships Australia (website growth and support plan) and Equana Minds (website design and development).
However it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. WP Creative also reported three client losses during the year including a major church, a data storage firm and an Australasian yoga studio.
With two offices, one in Sydney and one in Kathmandu, CEO Nirmal Gyanwali told B&T he regularly makes an effort to visit the Nepal team three to four times in a year.
“Nepal has a deep pool of strong engineers, which lets us deliver enterprise-grade build quality at scale. Second, it’s personal. As founders we’re originally Nepalese, so we know the culture and lead the team closely,” he said.
The Nepal team consists of full-timers who work Australian hours to ensure clients “get one accountable team in their timezone”.
Out of the 31 staff at WP, 26 are in Kathmandu and five are in Australia.
Its biggest challenge, according to the agency, was balancing new business demand with increasing pressure from clients to deliver more for less — something that WP isn’t alone in.
In 2025, the agency formalised what it calls its ‘Web Performance Optimisation (WPO) Framework’ — a four-stage approach covering stabilisation, diagnosis, optimisation and scaling — designed to turn website performance into an ongoing growth discipline rather than a one-off project.
The agency also expanded internationally, launching its US operation and appointing growth and partnership manager Jean-Luc Giuca in Seattle to build partnerships and new revenue opportunities.
WP Creative rolled out AI-assisted workflows across areas including project management, client reporting and website audits. The agency said the technology has been particularly valuable in speeding up website performance diagnosis and identifying the fixes most likely to drive commercial impact.
On the awards stage, WP Creative picked up recognition including being named the #1 WordPress Agency in Australia by Clutch, entering the Clutch 1000, winning a Web Excellence Award.
The Institute for Economics and Peace runs a global mission, and we’re their long-term website performance partner.
Through 2025 we kept driving their organic growth and site speed. The site now pulls 1.7M+ annual visitors, ranks for 50,000+ organic keywords and holds a 95+ site speed score.
One of Sydney’s largest tile retailers, and a long-running partner. Through 2025 we kept running their performance and growth programme: website optimisation, ERP integration, and a bi-weekly care plan. The partnership has delivered a 75 per cent increase in quote requests, 29 per cent organic traffic growth and 20 per cent more new users.
We built a full custom online learning platform from scratch in 2025. Their training was trapped in PDFs and spreadsheets, so we designed and built a custom LMS on WordPress and LearnDash, with sequential module unlocking, admin approval gates, content protection and participant tracking. 20+ modules across 10 custom development workstreams.
For CAA the website wasn’t a brochure. It was the product.
WP Creative had its strongest year yet in 2025. We expanded internationally, hiring a growth and partnership manager in Seattle and launching our US operation to position WP Creative as the global leader in web performance.
We productised our WPO Framework, a four-phase methodology that turns underperforming websites into measurable growth engines for marketing teams. We rolled out AI-powered workflows across every department, making a 33-person team across Sydney and Kathmandu deliver like a company three times our size.
The market responded. We were named #1 WordPress Agency in Australia, entered the Clutch 1000, won a Web Excellence Award, and hit 100 five-star Google reviews. Our LinkedIn presence reached 1 million impressions and 25,000 followers.
Our tagline says it all: web agency behind better marketing. In 2025, we proved that at scale, across borders, and with a framework built to last.
Drove WP Creative’s partnership expansion across the ANZ market, opening new revenue channels and agency relationships.
In his role, he leads strategic business development, drives company growth, and builds partnerships with scaling brands and marketing agencies to improve post-click website performance.
We’re the band that does the unglamorous work brilliantly. Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters as a one-man recording project, playing almost every instrument himself. He then built it into a tight, world-class band without losing the focus on craft. That feels a lot like our story.
We started small, grew across Sydney and Kathmandu, and kept raising the standard as the team expanded. Foo Fighters have never relied on hype alone. They’ve remained relevant for more than 30 years through craft, consistency and dependable performance. Web performance works the same way. It’s the engineering under the hood that quietly delivers results, year after year.
