Cartology – Woolworths Group’s retail media business – has announced a new addition to its leadership team with Chris Rutten taking on the role of Director of Operations from next month. Chris’ core focus will be on integrating technology and systems that promote best practice across all aspects of Cartology’s operations.
As the media business enters into its second year and continues to expand, Rutten will work to build a scalable operations framework that benefits the client experience end to end.
Rutten joins Cartology with extensive experience in platform development and operations across digital, OOH, broadcast and publishing. In his most recent in-house role, Rutten served as Nine Entertainment Corp’s Digital Chief Operating Officer, where he led Nine’s digital businesses.
Cartology’s Managing Director Mike Tyquin said, “I am delighted to welcome a media executive of Chris’ calibre to our team as we continue to build our digital and data capabilities to connect brands with customers at the moments that matter most.
“Chris brings deep expertise across our core channels of digital and OOH and has a great track record of building innovative operations and delivery platforms that achieve results for advertisers.”
Rutten said, “Cartology has an extremely compelling ecosystem of products from OOH and point of sale, to digital and true 360-degree ROI insights.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Carotlogy team as we further build our offering to deliver a seamless experience and meaningful results for brands.”
