Competition for B&T’s ever-popular Women in Media People’s Choice Award is in full swing, with voting surging over the weekend and some early favourites to take out the illustrious prize emerging.

In the two-horse race for Best Ad Campaign – Championing the Equality Cause, Host has crept ever-so-slightly in front of TBWA Melbourne. Host’s Redefining Women has snared 51 per cent of the vote, while TBWA Melbourne’s campaign for ANZ has 49 per cent. This one is clearly far from settled. However we hope come this time next year we’ll have an embarrassment of entries rather than just two.

In the employer of choice category, OMD Australia is wining the race, closely followed by The Works and TBWA Melbourne.

Of course, neither the campaign of the year, nor the employer can grab a gong on the night. That doesn’t mean, however, we won’t announce the winners and therefore bragging rights are up for grabs. The same goes for the fellers in the Male Champions of Change Award. That race is being won by Chris Chynoweth from Fox Sports, followed by Kevin Macmillan from The Works in Sydney and Jason Scott from Allure Media.

In a break down by category, the standings as of 10.25am Monday 31 July are set out below. For expediency, we’ve listed only the top three in each category. If you’re in the race and not listed anywhere below, despair not! Rather, encourage your friends, family and loved ones to vote for you here.
