To prove its durability in its 100 per cent Australian Merino Wool suits, M. J. Bale enlisted the help of Whybin\TBWA\Eleven to create a real-time travel torture test through Facebook and Instagrma.

To shoot their 2016 Winter campaign, M.J. Bale dressed an unsuspecting model in Sydney for a fashion shoot that was happening in London. The route to London was fierce.

  • Five days non-stop
  • Nine Countries
  • Ten modes of transport, including an overnight Ferry across the wild North Sea from Rotterdam to Harwich UK
  • No Sleep
  • One suit

As soon as the the model and the small crew arrived in London, they began shooting the 2016 M.J. Bale Winter Campaign. Model Tom Bull was a broken man but the suit was impeccable, proving that you can crush the man, but you can’t crush the M.J. Bale suit.

Commenting on the suit Matt Jensen, Founder & CEO, M.J. Bale said: “WithAustralian men travelling longer and further for business than any other nation, arriving looking as good as when you left is a struggle. We want to help gents stay looking impeccable and ultimately professional for business, no matter how many miles they’ve covered.

“Our range of suits are constructed with 100 per cent Australian Merino Wool, some  really can stay immaculate from cabin to boardroom. The images are raw and honest with no retouching to the model or suit, proving our claim you can crush the man but you can’t crush the suit.”

Commenting on the shoot, Tom Bull said: “I’m used to being put through my paces,  travelling the world to attend shoots. Extreme as it was, the challenge wasn’t one I was going to turn down. Despite the hellish journey it took to get there, the suit still looks top-notch diverting attention away from the bags under my eyes and from me falling asleep on the shoot!”
