In times like these, we could all use a laugh, which is clearly good news for Shaun Micallef as Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell enjoyed a nice boost on Wednesday night.
While last week the ABC show attracted 565,000 viewers, Wednesday night’s episode received a significant lift with 737,000 Aussies tuning in, according to OzTAM metro numbers.
Meanwhile, Seven’s First Dates Australia has a low, with just 178,000 metro viewers tuning in.
Over at Nine and 10, the best shows of the night were MAFS (1.07m) and Survivor (714,000).
Nine took the crown across all channels with 30.3 per cent, Seven got silver with 23.5 per cent, ABC snuck in third with 19.5 per cent, 10 did 18.9per cent and SBS did 7.7 per cent.

Seven
News did 1.096m, Home and Away did 659,000, The Chase did 560,000, The Front Bar did 393,000 and Highway Patrol did 388,000.
ABC
7.30 did 985,000, news did 827,000, Hard Quiz encore did 753,000, and You Can’t Ask That premiered to 390,000.

Nine did 24.0 per cent, Seven enjoyed 16.7 per cent, ABC did 14.3 per cent, 10 received 12.4 per cent, and SBS did 4.4 per cent.
