Wednesday TV Wrap: Warnie’s Memorial Brings In 829,000 Viewers & Everyone From Elton John To Kylie Minogue Paid Their Respects

Seven’s Shane Warne Memorial service brings in 829,000 viewers and makes for some truly moving television. His children’s speeches were absolutely beautiful.

Seven News hit 942,000 viewers while Nine News earned 821,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair scored 357,000 viewers – Grimshaw should host The Logies and also MC all weddings. 

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase grabbed 506,000. Meanwhile, the rerun of Warnie earnt 292,000 viewers – once again a lovely tribute. 

For Nine, Shane Warne’s state memorial earned 403,000  viewers and Hot Seat grabbed 399,000 viewers and Travel Guides grabbed 365,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Tipping Point managed 298,000 viewers – Shane Warne took over television last night and rightfully so!

For 10, 10 News First grabbed 315,000 viewers.  

Finally, ABC had a strong news night with ABC News, netting 536,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 428,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, Hard Quiz grabbed 422,000  viewers and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell earned 418,000 viewers. – These two are icons for a reason they always deliver!
Out on top was the Seven Network with 33.2 per cent. Nine Network was behind with 27.8 per cent of the daily share.  Followed by the ABC Network with 17.6 per cent that. Followed by 10 Network with 14.2 per cent of the share, while the SBS had 7.3 per cent.
