Australians are once again tuning in to the news in droves, with news programs the top six most-watched shows on Wednesday night.
Seven News topped the charts with 1.15m, while Nine News did 1.10m and ABC News did 814,000, according to OzTAM metro numbers.
Seven won the night across all channels with 29.6 per cent. Nine did 24.8 per cent, 10 did 17.4 per cent, ABC did 18.6 per cent and SBS did 9.6 per cent.
In terms of entertainment, Nine’s best show for the night was Hot Seat (596,000), while 10’s best for the night was Bondi Rescue (461,000). Seven’s best was The Chase (642,000), while ABC’s Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery enjoyed 531,000.

ACA did 755,000 and a Kath & Kim repeat did 373,000.

The Project did 544,000, Bondi Rescue did 461,000 and 10 News First did 395,000.
Seven
Home & Away did 669,000, America’s Got Talent enjoyed 573,000 and Sunrise did 320,000.
ABC
7.30 did 678,000 and The Weekly With Charlie Pickering did 501,000.

Seven won the night with 21.4 per cent, Nine did 16.0 per cent, 10 did 9.9 per cent while ABC did 13.6 per cent and SBS did 5.7 per cent.
