Volkswagen UK Releases Cool Cinema Villains ‘The Button’ Campaign

Volkswagen’s creative agency in the UK Adam&eveDDB has unveiled a new campaign for its petrol-electric Golf GTE model that plays on some of the best and most evil button-pushing moments from cinema.

From references to Star Wars’ The Death Star, James Bond and Indiana Jones films the clever spot shows the damage that can be done with a simple push of a button.

The premise of the ad is although cinema villains have done great damage by pressing their famed buttons, a Golf driver can do good by converting from the vehicle from petrol to electricity with a simple press of theirs.

Adam&eveDDB’s latest work for the German marque continues the agency’s other film themes, having spoofed both mafia and alien films in previous campaigns. Check them both out below:
