Once again it’s hats off to fashion bible Vogue who continue to show how powerful and relevant a magazine can be given some clever thinking.
Just last week, B&T reported on Vogue UK’s latest trio of covers that ditched the A-lister in favour of a CV-19-inspired homage to frontline workers that included a Narguis Horsford, a train driver for the London Overground; Rachel Millar, a community midwife; and Anisa Omar, a supermarket worker and business school student.

Now comes a fashion shoot from the US edition of the magazine starring 27-year-old Kiara Marshall who lost a leg at the age of 10 when the car she was travelling in was hit by a drunk-driving truck diver who was four times over the limit.
Marshall, who has modelled since the age of 18, said: “I have always dreamed of being a model but it never seemed like a viable option to do it full time, so it feels very surreal. The accident lit a fire inside me to pursue a career in modeling and in many ways it was the making of me.”

Meanwhile, Vogue Czechoslovakia has given the traditional celebrity cover a twist, its latest issue stars Kylie Jenner alongside her two-year-old daughter Stormi who, it must be said, are the splitting image of one another.
Jenner posting an image of the as yet unreleased edition to social media.
The 22-year-old wrote on Instagram: “New cover with my baby for @vogueczechoslovakia shot at home on my iphone ? @morellibrothers #VogueCS.”
Sharing a behind the scenes photo, Jenner added: ‘i love this little baby so much i want to burst.. sometimes i just look at her and cry knowing she will never be this small ever again.”
