VMO Grows Sales Team Nation-Wide

VMO today announced expansion to the Sydney sales division. The new roles reflect the next phase of growth for VMO.

VMO’s MD, Anthony Deeble, commented, “VMO has grown enormously over the last 18 months creating a number of new roles to cater for the increasing interest in our Digital Outdoor offering. The roles are designed to strengthen our brand and coverage in new markets.”

Firstly, the promotion of Ryan Simpson to national direct manager for VMO. Simpson has been with VMO for nine years and is now expanding the sales function nationally to encompass clients directly and boutique independent agencies.

Replacing Simpson in the role of NSW sales director is Michael Robertson. Robertson has nearly a decade of media experience in the UK and Australia as well as experience running his own businesses.

He rejoins the VMO Sydney sale team at a critical point in the advancement of VMO’s technology suite, specifically DART 2.0 – VMO’s exclusive audience engagement technology. It’s through DART 2.0 that VMO were this year able to deliver the first ever Programmatic Outdoor campaign.

The success and ongoing demand for Programmatic Outdoor has also driven the need for a team to educate clients. VMO has promoted Lorna Briggs, from the Sydney sales team to the role of GSM, strategic partnerships to champion the Programmatic Outdoor offering.

Deeble added, “There’s a real appetite for digital products with results and we’re well placed to deliver these solutions to our partners.”

Paul Butler, GM sales and marketing said, “I’m really excited about the evolution of the Sydney team and the expansion to a national role for Ryan. We have an excellent team in place and are uniquely positioned to drive innovation in the sector.”
