An American right-wing politician has sought to gain mileage out of the Bud Light marketing fiasco, launching an ad that’s equal parts transphobic as it is plain laughable.
Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has used to the ad to launch her own line of koozies (stubbie holders to we Aussies) that are adorned with the faces of other right-wing female governors and comes with the tagline “Real women don’t have to fake it.”
Although Bud Light beer or trans activist Dylan Mulvaney aren’t mentioned in the spot, it’s pretty clear what the ad’s intentions are.
Got a beer can with a picture of a trans person on it? Don’t embarrass yourself at barbecues by quickly covering it up with a “Real women” koozie.
The creative has been quickly slammed with news site The New Republic going so far as to call it “possibly the worst ad known to mankind”. Decide for yourself below:

Meanwhile, social media is having a field day at the governor’s expense, suggesting women fake things every day of their lives.
