Last night, The Block won a Total TV National Reach of 2,199,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,220,000 for Nine. Audiences tuned in to watch Blockheads tour each other’s homes, bringing out the oohs and aahs.

It’s positive reaction after positive reaction, although Han does not agree with Can’s claim that House 1 should’ve beaten them.

The group is full of praise for House 2’s room, which received a 10 from Darren. The craftsmanship is gushed over, and compliments galore are given to builder Ben, who has created some incredible arches yet again.

The teams are left surprised when they realise just moments later that Han and Can have fired him.

“I’m gobsmacked,” Foreman Dan said.

Ben explains he’s been told he’s too expensive to keep on, but that he had an inkling this was coming since last Thursday.

“Did you see this coming?” a producer asked House 2’s remaining builder, Shan.

“I’m not going to comment on that,” he replied.

Just before Han called Ben to fire him, she took off her mic. Her story goes that she took it off because she was sick.

After, she is upset at the implication that it appears suspicious, storming off, claiming that she can’t see the issue.

“It’s ridiculous, they’re trying to f–king frame me for being dodgy,” she raged.

Over on Seven, My Kitchen Rules saw a Total TV National Reach of 1,644,000.

The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition 2025 premiered on Channel 10 with 13 new teams. These teams are comprised of local celebrities and their loved ones, aiming to win $100,000 cash prize for their chosen charity.
