Tipping Point Australia and The 1% Club UK brought the questions, while Love Island Australia brought the drama as its first firepit ceremony put the villa’s couples under pressure.
Nine’s Tipping Point Australia secured a Total TV National Reach of 1,422,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 791,000.
It was a close call, however, with Seven’s repeat of The 1% Club UK hot on its heels, reaching 1,418,000 and recording a Total TV National Average Audience of 840,000.
Nine also welcomed back Budget Battlers, with Jess Eva returning to lead another round of budget-conscious home transformations. The third season launched with a national reach of 1,264,000 and an average audience of 467,000.
The new season sees Eva and her team tackle home renos with just five days and $10,000 to spend, with the opening episode heading to Warracknabeal, Victoria, to help a young mum raising four children on her own.
In the Love Island Australia, the first firepit twist and a developing love triangle involving Oli gave the Islanders plenty to contend with. Wednesday’s episode had a national reach of 1,080,000, with an average audience of 468,000.
Bombshell Ava was tasked with choosing one boy to couple up with, leaving another girl single and at risk of being dumped from the island. Her arrival had already unsettled the villa, after dates with Jack and Lachie stirred tensions with Natalie and Shawnee.
Meanwhile 10’s, Big Brother Australia had a national reach of 908,000 and an average audience of 454,000. The latest house drama saw Charity confront Ebony over her name-calling after the housemates’ tongue-in-cheek awards, earning praise for calling out the behaviour.
Ebony picked up a string of unflattering titles, including rudest housemate, fakest housemate, worst first impression and most annoying. The results brought her behaviour into focus, with Charity challenging her over repeatedly referring to other housemates as “peasants” and “poor”. Phoebe also called out Ebony for describing people as “hobos”.
ABC’s Hard Quiz came in at fifteenth with a national reach of 892,000 and an average audience of 585,000.
