AFL’s most glamourous night of the season has sashayed straight to the top of Monday’s TV ratings, with the 2026 Brownlow Medal delivering a massive audience for Seven.
Collingwood star Nick Daicos took home the night’s highest honour securing 47 votes throughout the season, shattering the previous record and sitting comfortably, 11 votes ahead of the Geelong Cats’ Bailey Smith who had 36 votes. The award ceremony pulled in a Total TV National Reach of 3,403,000 and an average audience of 1,626,000.
The evening’s fashion-forward red-carpet coverage also proved a strong draw, with a national reach of 1,782,000 and an average audience of 977,000.
Nine’s The Block came in fourth with a national reach of 1,894,000 and an average audience of 1,075,000 as contestants entered another week of increasingly high-stakes drama.
Monday’s episode saw laundry and rumpus week get underway, alongside the annual community challenge, which pushed tensions between rivals Jolene and Tayla to boiling point. Jolene confronted Tayla in a fiery exchange, adding a little extra spice to the renovation chaos.
Nine’s Tipping Point Australia and Seven’s The Chase Australia once again held their own, with the Nine’s format securing a national reach of 1,545,000 and an average audience of 857,000. Seven’s program had a national reach of 1,401,000 and an average audience of 688,000.
ABC’s latest instalment of Four Corners had a national reach of 1,036,000 and an average audience of 687,000 landing the program in twelvth.
The long-running current affairs program honed in on the recent surge of Chinese EV brands in Australia and exposed the gaps in Australia’s national privacy and cyber security laws.
Over at Ten, Have You Been Paying Attention? put Ray O’Leary, Lizzy Hoo, Geraldine Hickey, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang through another round of quiz-show chaos with host Tom Gleisner and special guest quizmaster Silvia Colloca. It had a national reach of 831,000 and an average audience of 533,000.
