Last night, Nine’s The Reckoning: Inside The Epstein Files attracted a larger TV audience (1.9 million) but a smaller average audience (766,000) than the ABC’s Diabolical: The Epstein Files (reach: 1.48 million, average: 780,000).
Aside from Married at First Sight, the night was dominated by news and current affairs (five of the top ten programs), which is hardly surprising given Trump’s decision to wage war in Iran, and his prominence in documentaries about the Epstein files.
Australian Idol also put on an incredible show capturing the attention of Aussie viewers with total TV national reach of 1.59 million and a total TV national average audience of 826,000.
Star judges Amy Shark, Kyle Sandilands and Marcia Hynes put the hopefuls through hell with a trio of performance challenges throughout the episode, designed to separate star power from pub singer.
A handful of contestants were able to impress the judges proving that they can not only carry a tune but an encore too, whilst others enthusiasm took a back seat to a few technical issues.
The episode was jam packed with a staggering nine contestants being sent home as the competition heats up with only 21 potential pop stars remaining.
Nine’s Married At First Sight won top spot with a national reach of 2.9 million and an average audience of 1.86 million.
Chanel 10’s new season of Survivor posted a national reach of 940,000 and an average audience of 446,000.
