Nine owned Monday night ratings as The Floor finale crowned a new champion in front of nearly two million Australians.
The quiz show drew in a Total TV National Reach of 1,960,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,060,000, all of whom tuned in to watch composer Alex Palmer take home the $200,000 grand prize.
The 33-year-old Sydney-based composer claimed victory after a best-of-three duel against runner-up Kate, bringing the season to a dramatic close.
Also on Nine’s network, Tipping Point continued its consistent ratings run, landing just behind The Floor in fourth, drawing in a National Reach of 1,643,000 and an Average Audience of 859,000.
Seven’s Home and Away was the network’s strongest non-news performer, with a national reach of 1,336,000 and an average audience of 957,000.
On Network 10, Have You Been Paying Attention? drew in a national reach of 1,269,000 and an average audience of 771,000.
Quizmaster Tom Gleisner was joined by guest quizmaster Daniel MacPherson, who had just come off a speaking appearance at Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest.

MasterChef Australia’s Around the World week continued with a high-stakes international elimination, with Kanika Gadyok sent home after her Mexican dish drew too many criticisms from the judges.
Jackie Yu provided the night’s most tense moment, risking her immunity pin on a Japanese pumpkin and miso cake. The judges were divided on the miso flavour but ultimately declared her dish safe, allowing her to hold onto her pin for another week.
The show drew in a national reach of 1,103,000 and an average audience of 678,000.
