Clarkson’s Farm broadcasted on Nine farmed in an impressive reach of 1,554,000 people, with a less than flattering national average audience of 516,000. Following The Block’s time slot, season three episode six, titled Mushrooming involved Jeremy Clarkson inspecting his home grown mushrooms.
The episode depicted in the middle of Summer opened with the TV personal releasing his cows back in the field. Following that strenuous task Clarkson inspected his farm grown mushrooms, by “optimistically” bringing two crates. With not much hope that his Mushrooms will turn out alright, the 65-year-old was left delightfully surprised after he found out his fungi had indeed grown and were ready to pick.
The former motoring journalist returned to his farm shop with freshly picked Mushrooms showing them off to girlfriend to Lisa Hogan.
Other than Clarkson’s Farm, it was the usual suspects that raked in the numbers for Seven, Nine and 10 in the entertainment genre. To nobody’s surprise The Block was the most popular entertainment program of the night pulling in a reach of 2,054,000 and a national average audience of 1,165,000.
Over on Seven and 10 the most popular shows on respected broadcasts were The 1% Club UK with a national reach of 1,515,000 and an average audience of 843,000, and The Amazing Race with a reach of 971,000 and an average of 545,000.
