Tensions were high on Seven on Wednesday night, as The Block contestants Sev and Lisa went head-to-head in an emotional confrontation that saw the words “bitchy” and “abrasive” thrown around.
The clash between Sev, from House 4 with Courtney, and Lisa, from House 1 with Rosco, unfolded after a family dinner when Chantel told Courtney and Sev that other contestants had been badmouthing them.
According to Chantel, the group had been “super bitchy” and was ripping apart the pair’s winning room. That prompted Sev to confront Lisa directly, telling her: “It just was said that you guys were super bitchy ripping us and our room apart.”
Lisa defended the comments, arguing that discussing and critiquing each other’s rooms was a natural part of The Blockexperience.
She maintained that her criticism was directed at the room’s execution and the judging, rather than Sev and Courtney personally, questioning how an unfinished room could receive perfect 10s from the judges.
Sev accused Lisa of being “passive-aggressive”, while Lisa later described Sev’s approach as “abrasive”.
