Digital performance marketing agency Tug has kicked off 2021 by winning SEO campaign work with iconic Thailand comparison website EasyCompare.
Based in Bangkok, EasyCompare is part of a global insurance group that spans four continents and has been providing cover and service for more than 35 years.
Internationally their Group administers more than 6.8 million policies and writes more than US$2 billion in premiums annually.
EasyCompare brings global expertise and local knowledge to Thailand’s insurance industry, and makes it easy for customers to understand, compare, and buy insurance, while recommending what’s best for them and their budget.
Tug, a full-service digital agency with roots in search engine marketing, won the EasyCompare contract off the back of successful digital marketing work across the group, including with brands Compare the Market and Budget Direct.
EasyCompare’s director, Simon Birch, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Tug, whom we chose due to their extensive insurance and comparison site experience and their proven approach to SEO, which is transparent, and results driven.”
During these uncertain times, consumers are looking for better deals and are willing to put in the time to find them—fuelling tremendous growth in price comparison sites.
Through improved SEO, partners can help their communities—including students, pensioners, and families—surface the right content for the right market, at the fairest prices.
Under its remit, Tug will deliver multi-lingual SEO, targeting Thai and English comparison searches for EasyCompare.
Tug Agency’s chief executive, Nick Beck (pictured), said: “We’ve honed our SEO strategies and tactics to drive exceptional results for our clients in Europe. It’s testament to our growing global network to see Tug adapt these successfully for the APAC market”
“It’s encouraging to see the tremendous client attention we are getting, due to our honest approach to SEO. There’s no ‘black box’, just proactive, data driven, roll-up your sleeves delivery at Tug.”
Tug Sydney’s head of SEO Jahn Sapanlay said: “Working in the Thai language brings additional complexities which my team are eager to tackle. However, analysing this market closely has shown the value of global best practices and the importance of international signals to drive results.”
Tug opened an office in Sydney in 2016 initially to offer its international software clients, including Citrix and Intuit local expertise in the Australian market. Since then, Tug Sydney’s roster has grown to include insurance, health and automotive clients across Australia, Singapore and now Thailand.
