It was a tale of highs and lows in last night’s telly numbers, with Ten’s Survivor enjoying its best night of 2018 with 732,000 viewers, while Nine’s True Story With Hamish And Andy suffered its worst night of the year, managing 562,000.

Still, it was Seven who took home the biscuits, sneaking to a Tuesday night win with 29.4 per cent of the eyeballs. Nine was a close second with 28.7 per cent, Ten had 19.1 per cent, the ABC pulled 15.8 per cent and SBS mustered a neat seven.

For Nine, its best was again The Block with an impressive 960,000. Its 6pm news bulletin had 867,000, ACA had 843,000 and Hot Seat pulled 440,000.

Seven’s 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night with 971,000. Its other highlights included: The Good Doctor with 712,000, Queen Of The World with 691,000, Home And Away with 594,000 and 800 Words with 460,000.

Survivor aside, Ten’s best was The Project with 517,000 and Bull with 271,000.

Over at the ABC, its evening ran this way: 7pm news (704,000), 7.30 (537,000), Exposed: The Case of Keli Lane (514,000), Ask The Doctor (419,000) and Tick F***king Tock-Le (333,000).

SBS’ best was once again trains and once again a repeat of trains. Great Continental Railway Journeys pulling 263,000.
