Last night was the official opening ceremony of the Paralympics, bringing Australia (particularly the locked down eastern seaboard) more much needed Olympic cheer.
The opening ceremony scored 643,000 viewers for Seven.
Australia is well represented: on Wednesday, Aussie swimmer Brenden Hall will be competing in the first men’s 400m freestyle heat, while Lei Lina will be versing Brazil in tabble tennis.
On top overall was Seven News with 1,195,000, while The Voice continued to perform (pardon the pun) with 1,108,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
Nine News also came in at over a million with 1,064,000 viewers, while A Current Affair had 758,000 viewers and ABC News had 756,000 viewers.
In the prime time entertainment competition, there were similar numbers to Monday night, with Survivor at 689,000 viewers and The Block at 609,000.
For Seven, Home and Away had 686,000 viewers while The Chase had 624,000.
On 10, The Project had 515,000 viewers and 10 News First had 422,000.
Over on Nine, Hot Seat scored 500,000 viewers, The Hundred With Andy Lee had 390,000, Nine’s Afternoon News had 335,000 and Tipping Point had 332,000.
Finally for the ABC, 7.30 had 495,000 viewers.
The Seven Network won the night with 37.6 per cent of the daily share, while the Nine Networl had 24.4 per cent and Network 10 had 19.2 per cent. The ABC TV Network had 12.1 per cent and the SBS Network had 6.8 per cent.
