Tuesday TV Wrap: ABC’s Budget Coverage Goes Into Deficit With Viewers

ABC’s coverage of The Budget pulled in 445,000 viewers – a slight drop from last year’s budget, which drew in 506,000 eyeballs.

Dr Chalmers took the helm last night and promised Australians more affordable childcare while admitting interest rates will likely rise. So, consider buying lamb cutlets a thing of the past.

Nine Network’s overall share was 35.6 per cent. Seven’s Network was 23.4 per cent. The ABC Network was 17.5 per cent, 10 Network was 16.5 per cent, and SBS grabbed 7.9 per cent.

Seven News pulled in 888,000 viewers. Nine News has 775,000 viewers.

According to OzTam’s reporting, Nine’s night last night was very solid. The Block pulled in 782,000 viewers – Scott Cam is thriving! 

A Current Affair grabbed 664,000 viewers.  Hot Seat brought in 352,000 viewers. Travel Guides pulled 312,000 viewers. 

Seven’s Night, The Chase pulled in 455,000 viewers. Home and Away grabbed 441,000 viewers. Dogs Behaving Very Badly pulled in 322,000 viewers. 

10’s The Project brought in 261,000 viewers.  Cheap Seats earned 318.000 viewers. 

ABC’s night was strong, with ABC News earning 573,000.
