Tuesday TV Wrap: Big Brother Closes In On The Voice

Seven’s Big Brother is gaining speed on Nine’s The Voice, which recorded its lowest audience number to date.

Tuesday night saw 695,000 metro viewers tune in to Big Brother, while 703,000 metro viewers watched The Voice, according to OzTAM.

Over at 10, MasterChef still continues to dominate the reality TV space, with 949,000 viewers tuning in.

In terms of primary channel share, Nine won with 19.5 per cent, Seven did 18.4 per cent, 10 came in with 14.0 per cent, ABC did 11.0 per cent, and SBS did 5.5 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran.

Seven 

News did 1.19m, The Chase did 670,000 and Home and Away did 669,000.

Nine

News did 1.09m and ACA did 782,000.

10

The Project did 538,000 and 10 News First did 464,000.

ABC

Over at the ABC, news did 846,000, 7.30 did 623,000, Foreign Correspondent did 408,000 and Joanna Lumley’s Hidden Caribbean did 381,000.

All channels share

Nine came in first across all channels share with 28.7 per cent, Seven followed on 26.2 per cent, 10 did 20.0 per cent, ABC enjoyed 16.1 per cent, and SBS did 9.0 per cent.
