Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced that former Olympic gold medallist Libby Trickett will join radio veteran Luke Bradnam and media personality Ben Dobbin as a new drive-time trio on Triple M in Brisbane and Gold FM on the Gold Coast on weekdays.
The Luke Bradnam Show with Libby Trickett and Dobbo will be heard live across both networks from today between 3pm and 6pm.
SCA’s head of content for regional radio, Mickey Maher, said the new show will be interesting, entertaining and super relevant to what matters most to its Brisbane and Gold Coast audiences,
“We’ve created a show that links our two cities, hosted by three true locals – Luke, Libby and Dobbo,” he said.
Triple M Brisbane content director David Rymer described Bradnam as an “extraordinary radio talent”, and said the uniquely local show will resonate with Queenslanders driving home, everywhere from Kallangur to Coolangatta.
“We can’t wait to have Luke Bradnam, Libby Trickett and Ben Dobbin where they truly belong – on air together,” he said.
Bradnam said he was stoked to be back in Brisbane after scoring his first radio gig in the Queensland capital 20 years ago.
“The fact that I get to provide my two favourite cities with a local FM drive show is like a dream,” he said.
